Jasmine graduating with a double major in Art and Recreation. She is most definitely going to change the world!

Marli instilled in me a belief in myself and an ideology that says, "If you want to make something happen...well, then make it happen." She made me believe that I am capable of making great change ...just by being myself. And applying myself to my dreams.  She made me believe this because she models this every day she lives.  And what is especially cool about it is that I know I'm not the only one impacted by her in this way!

Marli's most valuable asset as a coach is her ability to connect with students and people on a personal level, make sure they know they are heard, and that she is putting her energy in to work with them as a unique individual. Her ability to recognize each individual's power and potential is key in her ability to facilitate student's ownership and understanding of themselves.

Marli is a skilled guide into the wilderness of your inner life. She has a wide selection of tools in her pack and is comfortable getting a little lost and trusting the inner compass to guide all on the journey safely home. If you say yes to this adventure, she will show up for you 100% and will help to set the stage for shifts in perspective and direction that have the potential to change your life forever.

I have been coaching with Marli for three months now, and I can say without a doubt that my life has shifted in profound and delightful ways since we began our work together. I have increased clarity regarding the direction I want my life to take and deeper insight into how to make changes that will get me to the goals I have set for myself.

WWU Service-Learning Leaders having a blast after an amazing team-building workshop

Marli facilitated a team building workshop for the WWU Service Leaders and, let me just say, it is amazing what she can do in just two hours. This group of first-year students really needed some time to connect and get to know each other on a deeper level. Marli used varying team building activities to fit the many different personalities of the Service Leaders team and each activity transitioned seamlessly into the next. Marli is a very intentional facilitator and she gave the Service Leaders ownership over their actions and accomplishments. She left the Service Leaders feeling empowered and excited about the new connections they had made. Having Marli facilitate our group helped set the tone for the rest of the year. Marli is encouraging, insightful, and genuine. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those working with students.

- Sarah Dorfler, Americorps VISTA Project Coordinator

Although it has been several months since you led the workshop for our class the effects are still reverberating in the hearts of the students and in my own as well. Students learned about themselves, their friends, and need for empathy and understanding. They realized their privilege.  Most importantly students learned how to be vulnerable, and within that vulnerability emerged a sense of obligation to support and empower those in their lives and make their community and the world a more socially just and inclusive space for all. As a teacher, you helped remind me that content and knowledge are not the most important things that students need to learn to be successful and happy individuals; they need to be inspired to lead and be true to their authentic selves. It is my honor to help provide those opportunities and you reminded and inspired me to do so.  Thank you!

I was lucky enough to book Marli to be the closing speaker for the regional ACCEDI meeting.  Marli is a phenomenal inspirational speaker, she brought activity and energy to the room and got the group excited and energized.  Her content was inspiring and fun!  Marli was able to engage the whole room and had such a positive message you just wanted to hear more.  She has a unique ability to relate her presentation to any type of group and I would highly recommend booking her for your next event.

Marli's energetic and passionate approach to her workshop allowed students to feel comfortable in their group and ready to share.  She kept the students engaged and eager to learn through participation by connecting with them on a personal level. Our school was so impressed with Marli that we have asked her to return as the Keynote for our Anti-Bullying week. We are thrilled that Marli was able to come to our school and make Nooksack a better place to go to school!
